Mark your calendars — the much-loved BSCC Youth Shoot is back this July, and this year we’re pulling out all the stops! It’s a perfect family day out, giving kids and parents a chance to experience shooting sports in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Whether your child is new to the shooting range or already has a budding interest in outdoor sports, this event is designed to create lasting memories and spark lifelong hobbies.
Important: All youth must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult at all times. We recommend arriving between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM; crowds tend to ease up after 1:30 PM, making it even more enjoyable for everyone.
Thursday nights just got a whole lot more exciting! All summer long, join fellow shooting enthusiasts for a relaxed, non-competitive evening of sporting clays in BSCC’s beautiful prairie setting. Twelve automatic throwers provide varied and challenging targets for every skill level — from complete beginners to seasoned shooters looking to refine their aim.
Bring your favorite shotgun, a box of shells, and a good attitude — it’s all about enjoyment and camaraderie under the big prairie sky. We can’t wait to see familiar faces and welcome new ones every week. Join us and make Thursday your new favorite night of the week!

At Byron Hunters & Conservationists Circle, we are constantly striving to expand the experiences and opportunities we offer to our valued members. One exciting idea that has been discussed within our leadership team and among our enthusiastic shooters is the potential to introduce controlled night shooting sessions at our club’s ranges. This concept is still in the planning phase, but we believe it has strong potential to become one of our most unique and memorable activities.
We understand that many of our members are interested in honing their marksmanship under varying conditions, and night shooting provides a new level of challenge and skill-building. To make this possible, we have invested in high-quality night vision equipment that meets strict safety and performance standards. These specialized devices were purchased through trusted night vision resellers in Minnesota to ensure reliability and proper certification for safe use on the range.
The plan includes setting up designated night shooting lanes with appropriate lighting controls and clear safety protocols. All sessions will be closely supervised by trained range officers, and participation will require attending a short orientation covering safe handling of firearms in low-light conditions and the correct use of night vision optics. We believe that by introducing these controlled events, we can offer an extraordinary experience while maintaining the highest levels of safety and respect for surrounding properties and wildlife.
We look forward to hearing our members’ thoughts and ideas on this initiative. Stay tuned for updates in our newsletter and on our official club calendar. Together, we aim to make our club a place where innovation and tradition come together, providing unforgettable opportunities for shooters of all skill levels.
